Since graduating from college and spending time as a studio assistant, followed by a period in industry Nicola has run her own studio designing and making windows for both secular and ecclesiastical settings.
Her work is always abstract in style and for church commissions she is drawing on inspiration from theological themes and using symbolism and colour to express spiritual concepts. She has developed a personal style, mixing techniques to create unusual surfaces and detail.
She is an elected Fellow of The British Society of Master Glass Painters. A senior panel of professional peers have judged her portfolio for design ability and competence in the making of stained glass. This entitles her to use the letters F.M.G.P. after her name.
Examples of her work can be found in churches in Kent, Oxfordshire, Suffolk and Berkshire.
