In 2009 Tracy gave up working in book production for a well-known international publishing company in order to concentrate full time on photography.
Tracy’s interest began many years ago, when Tracy’s husband bought her a darkroom kit for Christmas. Tracy took evening classes in basic black and white photography and darkroom techniques at her local college, where Tracy worked on three City and Guilds modules.
Contrary to current trends, Tracy continues to use film for most of the black and white images she takes. She prints these herself in her own darkroom. The colour pictures which you see here are taken on a digital SLR.
